Summary

I was an Associate Mission Designer during my time on this project. My work on the project included owning the level design, combat encounter design, and scripting of multiple areas of the game. Early on in the project I got to write mission pitches, and pitch them to the rest of the design team.

Roles

Level Designer

Scripter

  • Worked with Lead Designers, making sure to take direction from them to reach agreed upon quality

  • Paper designed, built, and iterated on several gameplay spaces

  • Owned Combat Encounter Design on multiple areas, working closely with leads to iterate on the level geometry, and gameplay pacing 

  • Scripted custom enemy behavior/functionality in combat spaces

  • Scripted custom gameplay mechanics for set piece

  • Collaborated with Animation, FX, Environment Art, and Engineering on creation of set piece

  • Took part in combat reviews, giving level design, and combat feedback to other designers in a clear and constructive manner
